So, you’ve chosen your Volkswagen Van, organised your budget and selected the servicing and maintenance plan
– but there is one more thing you should think about. Could you still pay for it if the unexpected happened?
With Payment Protection the repayments for your Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Finance agreement could still
be met in the event of sickness, accident or unemployment, helping you to maintain your mobility and relieve
some of the stress that these situations inevitably bring.
Whether you choose a new or a used Volkswagen Van there are three plans available to protect both private and
business users against some financial uncertainties:
Life and accidental death benefit
plus critical illnes.
Life, accidental death, critical illnes
plus accident and sickness.
Life, accidental death, critical illnes, accident and sickness,
plus unemployment.
Life, accidental death, critical illnes, accident and sickness plus unemployment.
As Plan 2 plus
If you are unemployed for at least 30 consecutive days.
- Your full monthly payment is made
- Until you return to work, the loan is paid off in full, the agreement terminates or 12 payments are made
- In addition to any redundancy payment
- You do not have to repay anything when you do return to work
- Eligible for a future claim after 6 months back at work (12 months in total)
Life, accidental death, critical illnes plus accident and sickness.
As Plan 3 plus
If you are off work due to accident or sickness for at least 14 consecutive days.
- Your full monthly payment is made
- Until you return to work, the loan is paid off in full, the agreement terminates or 12 payments are made
- Maximum of £1,250 per month
- Even if you recieve full salary
- You do not have to repay anything when you do return to work
Life, accidental death benefit and critical illnes.
If you lose your life:
- The full outstanding balance (less arrears) will be settled (including any deferred payment)
- Maximum of £50,000
- Pays out in addition to any life assurance you may have
- Accidental Death Benefit - £3,000 will be paid to your estate
If a qualifying critical illness is diagnosed:
- The full outstanding balance (less arrears) will be settled (including any deferred payment)
- Maximum of £20,000

- Coronary artery surgery
- Heart attack
- Stroke
- Kidney failure
- Major organ transplant surgery
